Lisa Gill takes oath as HC judge

After a wait of around two years since her name was recommended for judgeship, Lisa Gill was on Monday administered oath of office and secrecy as high court judge by the Punjab and Haryana high court chief justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul.

Where the strength of high court judges has now reached 47, it now has highest number of seven lady judges till date. Other lady judges are justices Daya Chaudhary, Sabina, Ritu Bahri, Rekha Mittal, Anita Chaudhry and Navita Singh.
