Man accuses LIC agents of duping him of Rs 80 lakh

A sector-19 resident has accused LIC agents and organisations such as Future Club, Noida, Standard Partner, Ghaziabad, Mature India Master Value Power 99, Life Style Corporation of India of duping him of Rs 70-80 lakh by promising good returns to investments.

The police have registered a case under section 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 120B (punishment of criminal conspiracy) under the Indian Penal Code.

Sector 19 SHO Maninder Singh said the Economics Offences Wing (EOW) was investigating case.
