Man arrested with 130 kg of poppy in Jammu

A man has been arrested after 130 kg of poppy was allegedly recovered from his possession in Udhampur district. Acting on a tip off, a police team intercepted a scooter on a highway at Narsoo in the district last night and recovered 8 kgs of poppy from Karan Singh, police said on Thursday.

Police later recovered 122 kgs of poppy from his house in Madha village of Udhampur.
