The special court for crime against women also imposed a fine of Rs 13,000 on convict.

Sanjay lured the victim, who was playing outside her house in Rajiv colony, on pretext of getting her a chocolate. Drunk Sanjay then raped the victim, a daughter of a labourer, and left her on road near Mauli Jagran.

Sanjay was booked on March 13 on the complaint of Gulshan, a resident of the same colony. Gulshan had spotted a minor girl screaming with pain and bleeding profusely near a poultry farm on March 12. He had informed her father and called the police as well. After the victim identified the accused, the police had arrested Sanjay.
