Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Mandi parliamentary constituency Ram Swaroop Sharma has said he would give top priority to boost tourism in Kullu district.
Addressing people at Jagatsukh, Prini and Chachogi villages during his visit to the Manali assembly constituency he noted money had been released for the repair of national highways in the state.
He added a detailed project report (DPR) of `120 crore had been prepared for the expansion of the Kullu- Manali left bank road and the same would be approved from the centre at the earliest. “In order to boost tourism, expansion of runway of the Bhuntar airport and maintenance of NH-21 were amongst his priorities.
I will put up the matter for opening a multi specialty hospital in the Kullu district with Prime Minister and union health minister ,” he added.
He was accompanied by local BJP MLA Govind Singh Thakur.
