Bobby recently penned the screenplay and dialogues for Ravinder Grewal's debut movie, Aiven Raula Pai Gaya, and is becoming a household name with his current show, Ki Haal Chaal Hai, on ETC. The youngster gets candid with HT City about his different facets.

Bobby, who did his masters in English from Punjabi University, Patiala, was never keen on being a dialogue and screenplay writer. "It's just a coincidence. When director Atharav Baluja (of Aiven Raula Pai Gaya) read my reviews about his video, Kali Nu Mil Mitran, on punjabiportal.com, he asked me to check the pronunciation of the dialogues of his upcoming movie, since he thought my command on Punjabi was good. That's how I ended up writing the screenplay and dialogues for the film. My major contribution to the film is Sweety's character, which is played by BN Sharma.

Although, when I saw the film, I realised that there is room for a lot of improvement from my side," says the 31-year-old. About the rumors of him writing screenplays for three more Punjabi movies, he says, "Well, nothing has been finalised yet, but talks are on."

So far, Bobby has interviewed celebrities such as Gippy Grewal, Sharry Mann, Mesopuria, Surjit Patar, Satinder Sartaaj, Jaswinder Bhalla, Binnu Dhillon, Garry Sandhu, Nachattar Gill, Surjit Khan and Geeta Zaildar on his show. Besides the glam world, Bobby's true love lies in art.

Talking about the artsy side of him, Bobby says, "I have been a member of DA (Deviant Art - the largest art community online) with my account, bobbysandhu.deviantart.com, since 2004 and have received five daily deviation honors so far. I'm the only Indian, and one of the very few in the world, to have received this honor. I was one of the 15 semi-finalists in the Dodge Dart contest (Dart is a car launched by Dodge). My artwork is a part of the collection at display at Albergo Ristorante in Barrea (Italy) and my work was also published in Overdrive Magazine in 2007."

Bobby Sandhu's artwork consists of pencil sketches and automotive drawings.
