One person was arrested along with 50 kg bhuki (poppy husk) from bordering Ramgarh sector of Samba district.
"Based on a tip-off, a team of the district special branch on Sunday evening raided the house of one Jagdish Singh alias Papla in Chak Salaria village of Ramgarh and recovered 50 kg bhuki from his possession," police sources said.

They said two days ago, police arrested a narcotic smuggler on whose disclosure, a raid was conducted and a huge consignment of contraband was recovered from the house of the smuggler.
"A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered and investigations are in progress," they added.
