Parents of MBBS aspirants meet Kirron Kher, demand more seats

Demanding 100 MBBS seats for Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, parents of medical aspirants from Chandigarh gave representation to local member of parliament, Kirron Kher at the local BJP office in Sector 33, on Wednesday.
She assured the parents that she will take up the matter with union minister for health and family welfare JP Nadda.
Significantly, the Medical Council of India has refused to GMCH-32 to admit 100 students this year after raising a few objections. The council said that the college should be allowed to admit only 50 MBBS students this year. For the past two sessions the college has been admitting 100 MBBS students.
