Punjab Engineering College (PEC) University of Technology director Manoj Arora launched the brochure of the university's fest, which is scheduled to start from November 8 , on Monday.
In the three-day festival, around 260 events would be organised, said a university official.
An audience of 40,000 people was expected, he added. The festival's website was also launched on the occassion.
At the launch, Arora remembered his days as a student at the university. He exhorted the faculty members and students to take the fest to a different level of achievement, while maintaining discipline at the same time.
A festival teaser was also showed, which filled the audience with enthusiasm. The university also announced the core committee of the fest.
The event commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by the director and dean, student welfare, Praveen Kalra.
