Deputy dean corporate operation and placement Gurseerat Kaur stressed upon the fact that students should concentrate more on live industrial projects rather than plagiarising.

IET Bhaddal director general Dr Jha advised the students to concentrate on the basic fundamentals of emerging areas, specialisation, current issues, technical aptitude, communication skills and, most importantly, summer training and final-year research projects for the demanding and highly competitive world.

School of Engineering and Technology, Bhaddal, director JS Kanwar said, "The training and grooming part of the students would be given due weight age for which the institute has already signed a MoU with reputed companies for the benefit of students."

He added that the Centre for Training and Skill Development (CTSD) of the institute had started providing the opportunity to bridge the gap between industry and academia with introduction of the 'Earn while Learn Programme', which was already operational from the last semester. The project lab for live project work would be available from October 1 on campus, he added.
