PPSC doctors' recruitment scam: Punjab govt accepts SIT report confirming irregularities

Punjab goverment on Tuesday accepted the special investigating team (SIT) report confirming irregularities in recruitment of 312 doctors by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) in 2008-09. The state government informed the Punjab and Haryana high court that suitable action will be taken on the report. The PPSC members, however, have raised objections against the report.
