CU Vice-chancellor RS Bawa told reporters here on Wednesday that the university had proposed a special financial assistance in the form of scholarships, which would ensure fee waiver to the eligible students.

The incentive would be for any course offered by the university, he said.

V-C also said that CU had also drafted a policy for the families of the defence personnel under which seats in all the streams would be reserved for their wards along with provision to get scholarship upto 15% in the course fee.
