Talking to Hindustan Times, Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal, PSEB chairperson, said:"The examiner lists send by the districts are very old and need to be revised so we need time to do so. Several districts have not sent proper information about examiners so this is the reason we have changed the date sheet of the Class 10 examination. Now the exams will start on March 25 instead of March 10. We want to depute more examiners for evaluation."

With the change in the date sheet, the school heads are feeling jittery as there are no directions that whether the students of class 10 will be relieved or the schools have to conduct the classes. Further, if the class 10 exams will finish till April 5 than the schools will not be able to start the admission process for class 11.
