PU declared the results of BA-2 here on Thursday.
Of 37,776 candidates, who had appeared, 24,531 passed the test. PU controller of examinations Prof Parvinder Singh said the result had been uploaded on the university website. Shifali Chhabra of Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar, topped the exam by bagging 1353 of total 1600 marks. Two girls from Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, Neha Gambhir and Rishu Chopra, grabbed second and third positions, respectively.
PU also declared the results of BSc-3 (microbial and food technology) in which all 31 candidates cleared the exam and in BSc honours (bio-informatics), of 20 candidates, 18 have passed the examination. PU also declared the result for Prak-Shashtri part-2 examination in which out of 50 students, 21 cleared the examination.
