PU issues instructions for PUCET aspirants

Panjab University (PU) has issued instructions for the candidates of PUCET (UG) entrance test, which is to be organised on May 23 at PU campus and other centres in the city. As many as 43 centres have been set up to conduct the entrance examination for more than 15,000 candidates.

PU authorities on Thursday reviewed the preparations for the entrance test. PU controller of examinations Prof Parvinder Singh held a meeting with the concerned officers involved in conducting the examination at 43 centres in Chandigarh. He issued guidelines and directions for the smooth conduct of the examination.

PU has also announced the traffic routes for the campus examinations centres, so that the candidates could enter from the appropriate gate and use the designated route only. Exercises have been carried out to avoid jams in the PU campus, varsity spokesman informed.

PU spokesman informed that the students appearing for CET UG entrance test at centres Chandigarh 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 14 should enter the campus from the PU Gate No-1 adjoining the PGI gate. The students appearing at examination centres Chandigarh 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 should enter the campus from the PU Gate No-2 adjoining the Sector 15. Students appearing at centres Chandigarh 8 and 9 should enter the campus from the PU Gate No-3 adjoining Sector 25. Examination centre Chandigarh 16 has been set up in UIAMS building, Sector 25.
