Punjab finance minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa is scheduled to conclude the debate on his budgetary proposals for the 2013-14 financial year on Monday.

The entire debate remained one-sided amid the boycott of the session by the opposition Congress, which has been holding a parallel mock session outside the Vidhan Sabha.

Dhindsa on Sunday issued a statement, inviting all MLAs to the lunch before the assembly proceedings, which would be the last sitting of the current session, on Monday.
This is Dhindsa's second budget after the Akali-BJP government began its second successive term following the coalition's victory in the 2012 assembly elections.
