Punjab shifts 4 IAS, 4 PCS officers

The Punjab government on Monday posted IAS officer Rahul Bhandari as secretary, school education. Among other IAS officers, Ajoy Sharma, special principal secretary to the chief minister, will hold the additional charge of special secretary, cooperation; Shruti Singh has been posted as special secretary, finance, with the additional charge of director, lotteries; and Ghanshyam Thori will now be the Payal sub-divisional magistrate (SDM).

Among the PCS officers, Sakatar Singh Bal has been posted as the SDM, Rampura Phul, in place of Charandeep Singh, who will now be posted as the SDM, Zira, in place of Mukand Singh Sandhu. Sandhu has been posted as the SDM, Raikot, in place of Jatinder Pal Singh, who will now be the Samrala SDM.
