Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday gave the nod to appoint Raghunath Singh Rana as the chairman of the newly-constituted Punjab State Industrial Development Board.
An official spokesperson said Badal agreed concurrence to the proposal put forth by the industries and commerce department to create this board in place of the earlier Punjab Medium Industrial Development Board to broad-base its ambit with a view to facilitate local industry.
