Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that studies have shown that it takes companies six to nine months to make campus hired students ready to be deployed, especially in the IT sector. Nearly 32% of graduates, especially from the norther n region, are particularly at a disadvantage due to lack of fluency in English and communication skills.

“To bridge this gap, Global Talent Academy is being set by the Rayat Bahra Group, in collaboration with QSpiders premier software testing and training institute. The group will provide the infrastructure for the academy while QSpiders will proffer leading experts from the industry to train students,” he said.

Students taking training at the academy would be assured a placement with a minimum annual salary package of 3.5 lakh, he said.
