He said in the men's section, matches would be played between Argentina and Sweden, Pakistan and Denmark, Canada and England while in women's section one match would be played between Pakistan and Mexico.

"We are making arrangements for the smooth conduct of the matches. Nehru stadium will be given a facelift ahead of the tournament," he said. Punjabi singer Satwinder Bugga will perform at the event.

Earlier, Cheema also held a meeting with the Shiromani Akali Dal workers and various organisations to seek their cooperation for the event.
