Over 2,500 students of the school observed a two-minute silence and recited gayatri mantra for peace to the departed souls. They also wrote message of condolence.

During the prayer meet, the school students were carrying placards asking for justice to the victims and felt sorry for them.

Yuvsatta convener Pramod Sharma said such tragedies were the gruesome reminder that the man had yet not learn to live in harmony and peace. He said they would be sending a condolence card singed by the students of the club to the director of International Youth Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to express solidarity with the Malaysian people.
