Schools, colleges participate in Clean India campaign

Educational institutions across the city participating in Swacch Bharat Campaign with great enthusiasm.

An awareness programme on the ‘Clean India’ campaign was ‘organised at Jan Shikshan Sansthan’s SAS Nagar campus on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Chairperson Asha Sethi, vice-chairman Satyavir Singh Malik and director Anand Mohan Sharma were among those who participated in the programme.

Participants pledged their support to the cause at the end of the programme.


Faculty and students cleaned the campus and areas surrounding it and promised to keep their surroundings clean.
Appreciating the Centre’s initiative, director general of the college, GD Bansal, addressed students about the
importance of cleanliness.


Students and teachers of Tiny -tots ’Foundation School cleaned up the school and its surrounding areas. Students of the Tiny- tots’ Foundation School assisted teachers in cleaning the school garden and organising their workstations.


The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) carried out cleanliness drives in several parts of the city as part of the ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign on Saturday.Party volunteers were seen cleaning up after Friday’s celebrations the Dusshera ground as well as the Sector 27 market.
