Advocate Amarbir Singh has said in his representation that he and his two friends Kamala and Gobind Kumar were in fact thrashed by the police constable and that they had not sexually harassed the cop's wife.

Meanwhile, Amarbir's counsel PIP Singh said that his client had got interim bail from a local court.

The couple had alleged on Thursday that they were stalked, misbehaved with and assaulted by three youths traveling in a Swift car. Following the complaint, police booked the trio on Sunday.

Amarbir Singh had on Monday approached the media and claimed that they were falsely implicated in the sexual harassment case. He had claimed that it was a case of road rage and not sexual harassment.

Amarbir had claimed that they were going to Gurdwara Nada Sahib when the couple's motorcycle hit their car near a temple in Sector 19. He claimed that when he objected, the policeman started hurling abuses at them and attacked them.

Amarbir's father Deepinder Singh had said that they were shocked to read about their son's alleged involvement in a sexual harassment case.

UT IGP RP Upadhyaya assured that all angles of the case would be looked into and justice would be done.
