Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School (SGGSCPS), Sector 26, boys’ clinched the under-19 title in the UT inter-school baseball tournament being held at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, on Tuesday. SGGSCPS defeated GMSSS-35 2-0 in the final. DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, defeated GMSSS-44 4-0 to clinch the third spot. In the boys’ under-14 matches, GMSSS-35 lifted the title defeating Government Model High School, Sector 37, 6-1. In the third place match, GMSSS-15 defeated St Anne’s School, Sector 32, 3-0.
The boys’ under-17 title went to GMSSS-10 who defeated GMSSS-35 4-1, while GMHS-37 outplayed GMSSS-33 4-1 to win the third spot. GMSSS-10 girls’ won the girls’ under-17 title defeating Government High School, Sector 11, 2-1. St Anne’s School-32 claimed the third spot defeating GMSSS-15 2-1.
Kabaddi
Government Model School, Kishangarh, defeated Government High School-47 45-38 to enter the semifinals of the UT inter-school girls’ under-17 kabaddi match. In the second quarterfinal match, Government Model High School, Manimajra, defeated GHS-40 20-2. GMHS-23 also entered the last four defeating GMHS-29 32-12. GHS-41 completed the semifinals line-up defeating GMS, lndira colony 47-20.
Badminton
Delhi Public School-40 defeated DAV Public School-8 2-0 in the girls’ under-14 age group in the UT inter-school badminton tournament being played at Sector 42 sports complex on Tuesday.
In other matches, Sacred Heart School-26 defeated Stepping Stones School-37 2-0, while St Kabir School-26 blanked SGGSPS-35 2-0. AKSIPS-41 edged past SGHMS-38 2-1, while Ryan International School-49 defeated CL DAV-7 2-0. Carmel Convent-9, St Anne’s School-32 and Strawberry Fields School-26 also registered easy wins to enter next round. In the boys’ under-17 Ryan International School-49 defeated Bhavan Vidyalaya-27 2-1, while GMSSS-16 beat Tender Heart School-33 2-1. AKSPIS-41 defeated St Kabir School-26 2-1.

New Public School-18 cagers won the boys’ under-14 basketball title in the UT inter-school tournament being held at Sector 46 Sports Complex. In the final NPS-18 defeated Bhavan Vidyalaya-27 48-22. Sri Guru Harkrishan Model School-38 clinched the third spot defeating St Joseph’s-44 13-9. The girls’ under-14 title went to Strawberry Fields-26 who defeated Carmel Convent-9, 42-24. St Anne’s-32 claimed third spot defeating Gurukul Golbal 27-10.
