Spine surgeons from UK visit PGIMER

To evaluate and assess the patients of difficult and cumbersome deformities of spine, a team of spine surgeons of Indian origin from United Kingdom (UK) has been invited by the department of orthopaedics, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

To evaluate and assess the patients of difficult and cumbersome deformities of spine, a team of spine surgeons of Indian origin from United Kingdom (UK) has been invited by the department of orthopaedics, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

The team consists of Dr Amarjeet Rai, president of the British Association of Spine Surgeons, Dr. Sashin Ahuja, Dr Iqroop Chopra, Dr Rajat Verma, Dr Venai Jasani, Dr Jayesh Trivedi and Dr Mushtak Shaikh. They are evaluating and assessing the patients of all age groups from around the region and putting forth their suggestions.

The team will also conduct regular discussions and teaching sessions for the next six days at the orthopaedics department, PGIMER. The evaluated and assessed patients will be operated upon by the PGIMER team under Dr Raj Bahadur.
