Swacch Bharat campaign : DC inspects hospitals

Deputy commissioner of Rupnagar Tanu Kashyap on Tuesday inspected private hospitals and banks as part of the Swachh Bharat campaign launched by the central government.

The district administration had allocated the day for ensuring cleanliness of hospitals and banks in the district.

The deputy commissioner inspected Sangha Hospital, Sharma Eye Hospital and UCO bank branches and State Bank of Patiala.

She directed the hospital and bank authorities to ensure cleanliness in their surroundings too.
Rupnagar civil surgeon Dr Surinder Gangar, president of Indian Medical Association, Rupnagar, Dr Ajay Jindal, Dr Pawan Sharma, Dr JPS Sangha, lead bank manager Rakesh Dogra were also present during the inspection.
