The event, organised by Kadamb Arts in association with Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Hotel Aquamarine, Sector 22, on Thursday, also includes a two-day painting exhibition showcasing the work of fifteen eminent artists made during a Kadamb Art workshop last month. Dr Goswami and acclaimed art promoter Manmohan Singh Kohli lauded the efforts of city artist Neenu Vij - the spirit behind the show.

Sharing her concept and concern, Neenu Vij said, "Everyone has their own way of showing appreciation; for some it is just an instant liking for something, while for others, appreciation goes into the details."

"Appreciating art needs no technical skills; just some observation, awareness and inclination. It helps us form an opinion and create a relation between the conscious and the subconscious," added Neenu.

The exhibition is on till today at Hotel Aquamarine (next to Hotel Aroma), Sector 22, Chandigarh
