Haryana vigilance bureau on Wednesday arrested Rajinder Singh, assistant secretary, market committee, Adampur in Hisar district, red-handed while accepting a bribe of `15,000 from Sunil Kumar, also a resident of Adampur, in lieu of getting prepared the payment of conveyance deed of booth.

In another case, an official spokesperson of the bureau said that Amit Kumar, computer data operator, municipal council, Kaithal was caught red-handed while taking a bribe of `2,000 from Pardeep Singh, also a resident of Kaithal in lieu of transferring the ownership of a house.
The official spokesperson said cases had been registered against the accused under Prevention of Corruption Act and further investigation in the cases was on.
