A 16-year-old girl has accused her father of rape, police said on Sunday.
The minor, hailing from Ballabgadh, has alleged in her complaint to the police that her father has been raping her for the past three to four years.
She had earlier informed her teacher about this but did not receive any help, they said.
Both her mother and she were beaten by her father when the victim informed her mother about the misdeed.
The girl finally turned up to her grandmother for help and recounted her ordeal, who then took her to the police station and helped her lodge the complaint, police added.
In another incident, a woman alleged in her police complaint that her 7-year-old daughter was raped by her tenant Jagat Singh last night after he took her away while she was sleeping on the terrace.
Police has registered both the cases and have started further investigations, they said.
