Virasat-e-Khalsa timings to change from Aug 1

The timings of the Virasat-e-Khalsa at Anandpur Sahib are set to change from August 1. According to a spokesman of the government, the museum will open at 10 am and close at 6 pm everyday from the said date.

The spokesman said the government has decided to close the Virasat-e-Khalsa twice a year - January 24 to 31 and July 24 to 31 - for maintenance. The museum will remain closed every Monday.

The Anandpur Sahib foundation has also decided to charge fee of Rs 100 from persons, who want to get an in-depth information about Virasat-e-Khalsa throughout the day. However, no such fee would be charged from the children below 12 years.
