A week on, two of the five suspects in the rape of a girl, 15, here on October 1 are yet to be caught.

The victim's father had reported that the girl's aunts-Geeta, Monu and Sunita-had taken her out on the pretext of seeing a doctor but handed her over to Binder, a man of 50. Binder put her in the car of a man named Gola, took her to an abandoned building on the Hisar road, and committed the crime, the father has told the police.

The police have arrested suspects Geeta and Monu on a charge of criminal conspiracy, and Binder on a charge of rape. "The family has to visit the city police station twice a day to press for the arrest of the remaining suspects," said the victim's father. Police spokesman Ved Parkash Nain said two teams were on the hunt.
