Woman constable missing since June 9

A woman constable of the Chandigarh police force has been missing since June 9. According to the police, Reeta, posted with police control room, was last seen on June 7 by fellow cops.

A woman constable of the Chandigarh police force has been missing since June 9.

According to the police, Reeta, posted with police control room, was last seen on June 7 by fellow cops.

She had joined the force three months ago and had left office on June 9 at 12.30pm.

Her family has lodged a missing person report and alleged that a constable named Ravinder, posted at the Sector 19 police station, was behind her disappearance.

The police are investigating Ravinder's role in the matter. They said his mobile phone has been switched off for the past two days.

Reeta's family informed the police that she had taken a twoday leave on June 9 to visit her hometown in Haryana.

She was staying with some friends in the city. Reeta had also stayed with a fellow woman constable, Saroj, at Manimajra for two days in the first week of June.

Her family told cops t hat they were clueless about Reeta's whereabouts.

They added that all her friends told them that Ravinder must be aware of her whereabouts.

Reeta's family further reported that she went shopping with Ravinder on June 7, after which they had a verbal spat.
