While Ayushmann showed his ‘nautanki’ in this year’s film Natuanki Saala, pretty girl Yami’s fans are eager to know when they would next see her on screen. Yami was in Chandigarh on Monday to shoot for a show on UTV Stars — Stars in Your City — in which she got to spend a day in the city and meet some of her ‘biggest’ fans.

Yami laughs when she acknowledges that her latest visit to her hometown has actually prompted a ‘rediscovery’ of the city. “When we went to Sukhna Lake to shoot, I indulged in boating, something I hadn’t done even though I belong to the city. The schedule also includes shopping at Sector 17 and then driving a tractor at a farmhouse,” she elaborates.

Directed by Eshwar Nivas, Aman Ki Asha is a rom-com shot differently. I play Aman, a Punjabi NRI girl, while Ali Zafar plays a Pakistani boy. The cast includes actors Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher among others,” she shares. Yami has also shot for two South Indian films — Gouravam and Courier Boy Kalyan and has been signed on to be the face of Rio Tinto diamonds and Kwality Walls.
