Youth booked for rape of law student

The police booked a youth on the charge of raping a law student. Police registered a case against one Munish Kumar Saini on the complaint of a Sector-68 resident. As per the complainant, pursuing her LLB from Kala Amb, she had met the accused while travelling on a bus on March 25.

Police registered a case against one Munish Kumar Saini on the complaint of a Sector-68 resident. As per the complainant, pursuing her LLB from Kala Amb, she had met the accused while travelling on a bus on March 25. She said that they became friends and she had accompanied the youth to a house in Phase 1, where he raped her.

As per the police, the complainant has only the accused's phone number that has been switched off; the house where she claimed she was raped is locked. The police have initiated an investigation.

The suspect's name, as told by the complainant to the police, is also fictitious.
