    Former CM HD Kumaraswamy to visit Delhi, discuss JDS-BJP alliance

    Former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy said, “I am going to Delhi on September 21 to discuss about the alliance between JD-S and BJP and we will also discuss other things including the Cauvery water sharing issue. They (TN) have gone to the Supreme Court, let the decision come, we do not need to worry till then, we do not have to release water, Karnataka government needs to take a firm stand."

    'Sacred Ensembles of the Hoysalas', the ancient Hoysala temples of Belur, Halebid and Somnathapura in Karnataka, known for their architectural brilliance have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The world body made the announcement in a post on X on Monday, a day after Santiniketan, the famed place in West Bengal where poet Rabindranath Tagore built Visva-Bharati over a century ago, received the coveted tag.     NHAI inks agreement to develop multi-modal logistics park in Bengaluru

    National Highways Logistics Management, a fully owned company of NHAI signed an agreement for the development of a multi-modal logistics park in Bengaluru, proposed to be developed at an estimated cost of 1,770 crore, an official release from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said.

    Bengaluru traffic cops warned commuters that a number of areas have been affected by waterlogging. They are: Sankey tank road to seven ministers quarters, Kanakapura road near Yashaswini school, Shivananda circle underpass, Jayamahal road, Ngf junction, Old madras road, Baiyappanahalli junction, Sagar junction, Bannergatta Road, Nagarjuna junction near GD Mara, Vega City Mall, Palace guttahalli, bda underpass, ITC Flyover near Sindhi Colony and Anil Kumble circle.

    Mandya farmers continue protesting release of Cauvery water to TN
