A Congress worker from the Hubballi – Dharwad Central constituency has responded to former CM BS Yediyurappa with a writing in the blood, after the senior BJP leader challenged Jagadish Shettar to win in the assembly elections. The worker even met Jagadish Shettar and displayed the poster which has a slogan, which is reportedly painted with his blood.

In the poster, the Kannada slogan says, “Jagadish Shettar will win the elections and Congress will get the majority.” This ‘blood splashing’ is said to be the response to Yediyurappa’s challenge where he said that he will give in writing with the blood about the defeat of Shettar in Hubballi.

Two days ago, in a meeting with the BJP workers at Hubballi Dharwad constituency, Yediyurappa said, “Jagadish Shettar has backstabbed the BJP and the members of the party. With all his selfishness, he left the party and joined the Congress. How can this happen? We should make sure he will be defeated here in Hubballi. I can write with my blood that he will lose this election on a Congress ticket.”
