Two youths were crushed under a train while taking a selfie in Jhajjar’s Bahadurgarh on Thursday, government railway police officials added.
The deceased has been identified as Shivam, 19, a resident of Chhattisgarh and working in a shoe manufacturing company in Bahadurgarh. Identification of the other youth is yet to be ascertained.
Bahadurgarh government railway police official Naresh Hooda said that a slum dweller informed them that two youths, who appeared to be between 18 and 20 years, were trying to take a selfie with a train coming from Delhi side and they were crushed under it.
He said that the bodies of the victims have been sent to civil hospital for the autopsy and identification of one of them was done with the help of an Aadhaar card recovered from his pocket.
