21 injured as Haryana Roadways bus collides with truck in Alwar

The accident occurred near the Bhavsiddh Temple on a curved stretch of the highway when the speeding bus, carrying around 20-25 passengers, collided with a truck. The impact severely damaged the front portions of both vehicles, trapping the drivers inside their cabins and triggering panic among passengers.

The accident occurred near the Bhavsiddh Temple on a curved stretch of the highway when the speeding bus, carrying around 20-25 passengers, collided with a truck. The impact severely damaged the front portions of both vehicles, trapping the drivers inside their cabins and triggering panic among passengers.

Ramgarh deputy superintendent of police Pintu Kumar said the truck driver sustained serious injuries, while the driver suffered minor injuries. Of the 21 injured passengers, nine with critical injuries were referred to the Alwar District Hospital, while the remaining were treated locally.

According to Haryana Roadways conductor Anand Prakash, the bus was travelling from Alwar to Gurugram. Soon after passengers boarded at Ramgarh, he was issuing tickets when the bus collided with the truck.
