The electricity supply to several residential localities will remain suspended for seven hours on Sunday due to maintenance work at the South City 66 kV Grid, officials said on Saturday.
According to a public notice issued by the SDO, Agar Nagar, power will remain shut from 9 am to 4 pm on February 22. The shutdown has been scheduled to facilitate essential repair and maintenance work to ensure the smooth functioning of the grid and prevent unexpected outages.
Areas likely to be affected include South City, Ajit Villa, Sun View, Jhammat Village, Ayali Kalan, Ayali Khurd, Bains Village, Hero Homes, Janpath, Rajgarh Estates, Ananta Enclave, Basera Heights, Barewal Village, Sukhmani and Mahavir Enclave, besides other localities fed by the South City substation.
