Vij was addressing a gathering before flagging off 10 new electric air-conditioned buses joining the local bus service near PWD Rest House. He said that there are now 25 new electrically air-conditioned buses here, which will make travel much easier, especially during the summer season.

“Since the local bus service began here on November 1, 2024, revenue of 4 crore has been generated, while approximately 2.2 million passengers have benefited from this facility. Local services operate on 17 routes,” he said.
