DSP dies while working out at gym in Karnal

Family members of the DSP of Panipat jail said that he went to the gym as usual at around 5am on Monday and he collapsed suddenly while working out

: A deputy superintendent of Panipat district jail on Monday died of cardiac arrest while working out at a gym in Karnal. He was 52.

DSP Joginder Deswal was taken to a private hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.

Deswal’s family members said that he went to the gym as usual at around 5am on Monday and he collapsed suddenly while working out.

The DSP started his career as an advocate from Karnal district court and later joined the Haryana Police Services. The body has been sent to the Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
