The Haryana government has appointed 2,075 post-graduate teachers (PGTs) and trained graduate teachers (TGTs) on contract

The Haryana government on Wednesday appointed 2,075 post-graduate teachers (PGTs) and trained graduate teachers (TGTs) on contract, 17 days after the candidates registered with Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited (HKRNL).

These appointments have been made in schools where shortage of teachers was found after rationalisation. Now, all contractual employees engaged under Outsourcing Policy-1 are being appointed through HKRNL, an official spokesperson said, adding that the Haryana Public Service Commission had also advertised 3,863 posts of PGTs.

“The recruitment process done by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission and the Haryana Public Service Commission takes time. Now recruitment is being done through the HKRNL for the departments where employees are needed,” said the spokesperson in a statement.
