Haryana: Int’l Saraswati festival in Pehowa from Jan 19

Chief minister Nayab Singh Saini will inaugurate the festival on January 19, while on January 20-21 technical sessions will be held at Kurukshetra University, followed by a panel discussion.

Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board has said that international Saraswati mahotsav will be organised at Pehowa from January 19 to January 25, showcasing a unique confluence of India’s art and culture.

Chief minister Nayab Singh Saini will inaugurate the festival on January 19, while on January 20-21 technical sessions will be held at Kurukshetra University, followed by a panel discussion.

On January 22, exhibitions and workshops will be organised by the Board at Rakhigarhi

“Artists from Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and other states have also been invited to showcase their respective regional traditions through folk songs and dances. A unique blend of art and culture will be witnessed on the sacred banks of the Pehowa-Saraswati teerth,” said the spokesperson.
