Haryana: Three killed in Rohtak road mishap

According to the police, the incident occurred on Saturday night when the three, all confectioners, were returning to their home in Sonepat after working at a religious function at Kharawar village in Rohtak.

Three persons lost their lives after a “speeding” car hit their bike near Bohar village in Rohtak on Saturday night, police said. The deceased have been identified as Ishwar Singh, 60, Dharmender ,45, and Rahul, 28, all residents of Sonepat city.

According to the police, the incident occurred on Saturday night when the three, all confectioners, were returning to their home in Sonepat after working at a religious function at Kharawar village in Rohtak.

“Near Bohar village, a speeding car hit their bike. Ishwar and Dharmender died on the spot and Rahul was rushed by a passerby to the Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) where he died during treatment. The car driver managed to flee from the spot and the car was seized. A case has been registered against the unknown driver for rash driving and causing death due to negligence,” said IMT police station SHO Pankaj.
