Haryanvi singer among four held for firing at mall, hospital in Yamunanagar

The accused were identified as Haryanvi singer-composer Vivek alias Harsh Bubka, a resident of Yamunanagar; Amarinder Singh from Karnal; Sabir Kumar, a native of Ferozepur district in Punjab and Aditya of Kaithal.

Days after firing incidents were reported at a mall and a private hospital in Yamunanagar, the local police on Tuesday said that they have arrested four men including a Haryanvi singer for their alleged connection with the crime.

Additional superintendent of police (SP) Amarendra Singh said that in the firing that took place during late hours of February 7, Harsh provided shelter to the shooters, as well as providing them with money and weapons.

The accused were identified as Haryanvi singer-composer Vivek alias Harsh Bubka, a resident of Yamunanagar; Amarinder Singh from Karnal; Sabir Kumar, a native of Ferozepur district in Punjab and Aditya of Kaithal.

They were presented before a court and sent to three days of remand, a police spokesperson said.

Additional superintendent of police (SP) Amarendra Singh said that in the firing that took place during late hours of February 7, Harsh provided shelter to the shooters, as well as providing them with money and weapons.

“Three shooters were arrested following a shootout with the police the next day. Following their interrogation, four other accused involved in the conspiracy were held. Among them, accused Amarender was wanted in an attempted murder case in Karnal and Sabir in a firing incident in Moga on February 10. These criminals were planning to commit another crime, but the police apprehended them before they could,” he added.
