Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday announced that Shri Mata Mansa Devi temple will be converted into a holy complex. While presiding over a meeting of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, Khattar also said that all liquor shops will be closed in the designated area of the temple and a complete ban on the sale of liquor on an area of about 2.5 kilometres from the temple will be imposed.

In the meeting, Khattar also gave approval to many decisions including functioning of the Sanskrit College, which is being built in the premises of Mansa Devi temple to the shrine board. The appointment of staff in the college, their salary and the fees charged from the students will be decided by the board.
In the meeting, the chief minister also asked the authorities to prepare a plan on old age home being constructed in the premises of the temple for effective operation.
He also directed the authorities to speed up the work of National Institute of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy and Sanskrit Gurukul to be built at Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple.
