Mata Mansa Devi board collects ₹1.81-crore donations during Navratri

On the last day of the Navratri, 24.26 lakh was donated as cash offerings at the three temples -- Mansa Devi Temple, Kali Mata Temple and Chandi Mata Temple--by 86,000 people, who paid obeisance

Registering a dip this year, the three temples of Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board received a donation of 1.81 crore during the nine-day Navratri that concluded on Monday.

The donations dipped from 2.59 crores, considered the highest donation received in March this year.

On the last day of the Navratri, 24.26 lakh was donated as cash offerings at the three temples -- Mansa Devi Temple, Kali Mata Temple and Chandi Mata Temple--by 86,000 people, who paid obeisance.

Chief administrator of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board and Panchkula deputy commissioner Sushil Srawan said 17.35 lakh was offered at Mata Mansa Devi Temple, 4.16 lakh was offered at Kali Mata Temple and 2.74 lakh was offered by devotees at Chanadi Mata Temple.

Apart from this, devotes offered five gold and 42 silver nuggets at Mansa Devi Temple and 81 silver nuggets were offered at Kali Mata Temple on the last day of Navratri.
