Ahead of the Navratri fair at the Mata Mansa Devi Temple, scheduled from March 19 to March 27, Panchkula police have deployed around 850 security personnel to ensure a safe and smooth event for devotees.

Officials said four ACP-rank officers will supervise the overall security arrangements. Police personnel in plain clothes will also keep a close watch on anti-social elements.
A temporary control room has been set up within the fair premises to handle emergencies. Additionally, 12 checkpoints have been installed in and around the area for thorough checking of vehicles and suspicious persons.
ERV, PCR, and rider teams will carry out continuous patrolling, while surveillance will be strengthened through binoculars, body cameras, and CCTV cameras.
Security has also been tightened at other religious sites, including Kali Mata temple, Mata Sharda temple, Chandi Mata temple, and Mata Samlotha Devi temple.
