President of India Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Ambala, Haryana on Wednesday, where she will fly a sortie in Rafale at the Indian Air Force (IAF) station.

Earlier on April 8, 2023, the President flew a sortie in Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft at the Tezpur Air Force Station, Assam, a statement from the president’s office said.
Ambala deputy commissioner Ajay Singh Tomar said that she will arrive by air from Delhi to attend a programme organised by the IAF at Ambala Cantonment as the chief guest.
“Necessary guidelines have been issued to the officials and other departments concerned regarding the successful organisation of the programme and the protocol,” he added.
Earlier, the president was scheduled to attend the event on October 18, but that was postponed.
