The Punjab unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise a series of religious events across the state to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur.
The celebrations will include a grand “kirtan darbar” at Anandpur Sahib on November 19, featuring renowned “ragi jathas”.
On November 24, simultaneous recitations of “Sri Sukhmani Sahib” will be held across all 628 BJP blocks in Punjab.
Punjab BJP working president Ashwani Sharma said the events aim to spread the Guru’s message of unity, sacrifice, and truth, calling on people from all walks of life to participate.
“These events offer an opportunity to remember Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s supreme sacrifice and reflect on his teachings, which transcend time and religion,” Sharma added.
